This semester, Year 6 will be exploring the new Geography Syllabus through the Challenge Based Learning (CBL) framework. CBL is an engaging multidisciplinary approach to teaching and learning that encourages learners to leverage the technology they use in their daily lives to solve real-world problems. Challenge Based Learning is collaborative and hands-on, asking students to work with peers, teachers, and experts in their communities and around the world to ask good questions, develop deep subject area knowledge, identify and solve challenges, take action, and share their experience. Big Idea of
INTERCONNECTEDNESS.
Our

How is Australia connected to other parts of the world?

Challenge is:
Use our INTERCONNECTEDNESS to help others in our global community.
Together we have viewed a proposal movie, which you can view
here, around the big idea of
Interconnectedness to use as a springboard into our inquires.
Year 6 have been thinking hard about the
big idea and have brainstormed meaningful questions about Australia's connections with the world. We look forward to a rich and rewarding final semester of primary school, where Year 6 students are able to work together to enact real change for the better in our world.
